Q: How much space do I need above the doorway? A: You will need a minimum of 13" clearance from the top of your door to the ceiling (or crown molding, if any) for this kit to fit correctly. Q: Can I cut the rail to fit my place? A: Yes. The rail can be cut to any length. If you tell us before shipping it out, we could cut it for you. Q: What hardware is required if I want to install more doors? A: You just need to buy an extra set of hangers and make sure they are the same as the hanger in barn door hardware set. Usually the set of the hangers includes the stops, floor guide and the anti-jump end to install one more door. Q: I have a 144" opening, will this 12ft bypass hardware work for me? A: Yes. Track's length should be greater than or equal to the width of the door opening, please select the length based on the opening. Q: How to deal with if the studs don't line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail? A: Attach a 1" thick header board into your studs first, and then mount the rail onto the header board. Q: How to deal with if there is a doorway trim? A: Attach a header board with the same thickness as your doorway trim into your studs first, and then mount the rail onto the header board. Support Bracket: It is made by solid 1/4" thick carbon steel, surper solid and steady. Four 6ft Rails: Rail is made by solid 1/4" thick carbon steel coming with pre-drilled holes of 16 inch spacing, black surface finished. We make the 12ft rail by connecting two 6ft rails with a junction plate. Hangers: The strap of the hanger is made by 1/4" thick carbon steel and the wheel is made by POM nylon, very durable and smooth. Our hangers come with to accommodate door's thickness between1 3/8" to 1 3/4". Rail Supporter: With lag bolts and the spacers, the rail can be securely attached to the studs and can hold 230lbs comfortably. Our bolts can be used to both wooden wall and concrete wall.
