The GlideLok works on most interior and exterior doors up to 1 3/8 inches thick, including French doors and double doors. This product works for doors with levers, knobs, and even large or uniquely shaped handles. You must be able to reach the top of your door, in order to slide the lock across. GlideLok has holes for the possible attachment of a hook or rod (not included). Some customers also tie a piece of string, wire, or even use a ladle or ruler to slide the GlideLok. These modifications are only necessary if you cannot reach the top of your door with your hand.
